Arboretum at Surf City Publix & Shops

This Publix & Shops is located off of Highway 210 and Highway 50. The design for the Publix canopy and Shops uses concrete masonry and brick pilasters. These pilasters create a rhythmic wall pattern which allows a cohesive separation between other architectural elements. Along the Publix & Shops exterior, you can see a variety of materials such as stucco, metal, brick, and siding. The Publix canopy uses a barrel-vaulted roof on the main canopy element which is a large contrast to the rigid, orthogonal, exterior finish.
